Fallen Angel & I went to see this last night. It was really good. I knew that Robert Pattinson would make for a beautiful vampire....after all, he's beautiful as a wizard too. Has anyone else seen, or plan to see, Twilight?

I saw it and I think it was pretty good for the budget they had. I think they could have done a few things differently and they shouldn't have left certain things out...
Not to mention seeing so much of St. Helens in the movie (They filmed a good portion there, it's about 20 mins from my house) Mainly Bellas house and then they used downtown as Port Angeles. That theater that was in the background of Edward and Bella driving after the group of guys.... That's the theater I saw it in! Then When they showed the view from "Forks" high school (really Kalama High, literally across the river from me). I realized that the HS isn't that far from my Aunt Anissa's house!!!
I can't wait to start film school in March!

I wasn't completely impressed, but it's always going to have a spot in my heart. It definitely was interesting to see it and know that i had been to quite a few of the places that they filmed at. On IMDB.com, it's listed that they filmed in Longview/R.A. Long High School (my hometown and high school), but they didn't. Or atleast, not that i could see. I'm going to try and find the credits to watch and see what it says in the credits. I can't wait for New Moon. They were given the go ahead this weekend.

Her faults give me room to make a successful re-make of the movie a few years down the road;)
OOOOOR a nighttime drama. I'd love to wait until after she finishes with Edwards side of the story (she will d**n it, she has too!) and base the nighttime drama off of both views.
Kyla if they did film a part there it could have been a scene that got cut out.

The school district actually never gave them the go ahead, so i'm about 99.9% certain that they never filmed there.. Mr. Frost (the new principal) is a jerk and wouldn't let them do it.. thankfully though, they have given the go ahead to use the school for New Moon.. but no one will ever know it's R.A. Long simply because they want to use our underground tunnels.. But seeing as how Cathrine is no longer the director, i'm worried that Chris might not use them.. I think it was also said that they might CG our bell tower for the Italy/edward walking into the sun scenes.. but i'm not sure if they are going to do that one either.. i guess we'll see..
Me personally, when i read the books, i don't see R.A. Long's bell tower as the clock tower in Italy, but if they can CG it to look good enough, who knows..

So, got word from the Longview school district, that Chris decided not to use the underground tunnels underneath RA Long.. kind of saddening. Oh well..
